Rosendale Mans Gift Saves Lives

The 41-year-old Rosendale man who fell from a tree stand Sunday afternoon has died. Officially Jason Czoschke was brain dead Monday, but he was kept on life support because he was an organ donor and time was needed to match and harvest his organs. His wife Shawna posted details on her Facebook page saying his heart stopped shortly after 6:30 this morning. But there was also hope. She said in her posts that as a result of his generosity eight people will receive his organs, skin and even the lens in his eyes. His heart went to a man in Chicago who only had days to live. Uecker Witt is handling the funeral arrangements.
