Sadoff Helps St. Vincent De Paul After TV Donation Debacle

A Fond du Lac business is
lending a hand to Saint Vincent De Paul in Oshkosh – after the thrift store ended up
with a costly, unwanted donation earlier this month.

About 15 tube televisions
were dropped off in the middle of the night, but the thrift store is unable to
sell them and was going to have to pay hundreds of dollars to recycle them.

Goodwill and Sadoff E-Recycling and Data Destruction reached out to see if they
could help – but by the time Sadoff contacted the store, the televisions had
already been recycled. So instead of taking the bulky TV’s – Sadoff send a $500
check to cover the expenses of the recycling and more. They have also agreed to
work with the store in the future to unload such donations.
