Sadoff Says School District Purchase Made Sense

The School District of North Fond du Lac has purchased the former Presentation School building in North Fond du Lac to house the Treffert Way for the Exceptional Mind charter school.

The district purchased the building for 125-thousand-dollars this month from Holy Family Catholic Community. Superintendent of Schools Aaron Sadoff tells KFIZ News that having a permanent home for the Treffert Way means a lot for everyone involved with the school.

“With the Treffert Way, they are really focused on a way that Dr. Treffert developed of how to educate and move kids through their learning process that really focuses more on community, on talent, focus on correct diagnosis. And in order to do that and to really prove that concept, moving around was a lot. But now to have space and to really work on that is going to be huge.”

Renovation work will happen on the property this summer, with students starting to use the space this fall. The school had been housed inside the Fond du Lac Children’s Museum this school year.
