Sadoff Testifies Before JFC On State Budget

North Fond du Lac Schools Superintendent Aaron Sadoff was among those who testified before the state’s Joint Finance Committee during a public hearing on the State Budget in Berlin last month. He says while he was there to speak about education he also listened and came to appreciate the concerns others were speaking about. He says a beautician spoke about laws that would require new licenses that could shut down her business and veterans spoke of issues with health care. Sadoff says he’s hoping a $200 per student increase in categorical aid will survive the budget process. He says Governor Walker has been hitting the road pretty hard talking about the importance of that increase in funding. Sadoff says the state is in great shape, but we could get better. He says he’s interested in seeing what recommendations the Joint Finance Committee comes out with on the State Budget.
