Salvation Army Gets Donation From Hotel Retlaw

The Fond du Lac Salvation Army recently got a donation of furnishings from the Hotel Retlaw. Captains Steve and Telinda Wilson say they will be reselling the furnishings at their Thrift Store at 79 West Pioneer Road. Steve Wilson says the owners of the Retlaw were looking for community agencies that could use the furnishings. Some of the furnishings include beds, chairs, dishes and a lot of other items. They say Mercury Marine was kind enough to donate the services of a semi-trailer to load the furniture to move it to the Thrift Store. Steve Wilson says that was nice because they don’t have that much storage space. Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County and its ReStore received a similar donation from the Retlaw last August. The Hotel Retlaw will soon be going through a $25 million renovation.
