Salvation Army Kicks Off Red Kettle Campaign

The Salvation Army begins it’s 2016 Red Kettle Campaign in five locations, Friday, November 4.  Tobin Machining sponsors the first day of kettles, asking community to match their $750 donation. This year, an Advisory Board Community Resource & Development Team drives the Christmas Campaign, and the Red Kettle and set a $160,000 goal. On Friday, team members will be at four locations from 4-6 pm, kicking off the kettle season by giving community first opportunity to get a Red Kettle Season pass.  These handsome limited edition pins announce support for The Salvation Army and the Red Kettle Campaign. Pins are sponsored by Buckos Resale Shop and are available in denominations of $20, $50 and $100.   This planning team and where each will be during the kick off is, from left: Sue Petrack, owner of Buckos Resale Shop (Sue will be at Festival Foods location featuring free free cookies, the Festival Turkey Trot mascot, Mrs. Wisconsin & Jason Zinn from The What Not Shoppe); Advisory Board Chairperson Scott Richter (Scott will be at the Pick n Save Johnson location); City Manager Joe Moore (Joe will be at the Shopko location); and Dawn Mueller Stacey, from KFIZ and K107 The Bull (Dawn will be at Piggly Wiggly with Guy David and Big Al from 107.1 The Bull.  There will be contests between Banjo the Bull mascot and the Pig from Piggly Wiggly.)
