Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign Makes Goal

The Fond du Lac Salvation Army exceeded their $145,000 goal for the Red Kettle Campaign this past holiday season. The exact total was $152,437.34. “The Red Kettles at Christmas are our largest annual fund-raiser, the kettles and bell ringers are synonymous with the Salvation Army and the spirit of giving,” Fond du Lac Salvation Army Captain Steven Wilson commented. Part of that fundraising effort was the KFIZ and K107.1 Bucket Brigade held in early December. With a match from the Michels Corporation the effort raised a record $15,187.64.

One of the countless ways we bring that to life is by partnering with important organizations like The Salvation Army. We are honored to support efforts to make our community a better place to live and work,” Pat Michels, Michels Corporation President said.
