Samaritan Clinic Cash Raffle Raised $107,000

Agnesian HealthCare Foundation officials say the recent Samaritan Health Clinic Cash Raffle raised $107,000 for the clinic. The house raffle raised more than $1.5 million for the clinic during its 18 years, but this year the raffle was switched to a cash raffle with $150,000 in prizes awarded. The clinic provides patients in financial need with important basic health services, medications and urgent dental needs. Agnesian HealthCare Foundation executive director Rita Meidam says, “We appreciate the community’s generous support of the Samaritan Health Clinic.” More than 5,900 tickets were sold in this year’s raffle. Alyssa Stephenson, of Fond du Lac, was drawn as the first grand prize winner, being randomly drawn for the $100,000 cash prize.
