Sampson Sentenced to Eight Years for Burglaries

A 29-year old Fond du Lac man will spend the next eight years behind bars for his role in a string of home burglaries. Aron Sampson is also sentenced to twelve years on extended supervision.

Sampson faced eleven felony counts, including six counts of Bail Jumping, three counts of Burglary, and two counts of Theft of Movable Property. Sampson would apparently take items from the homes, including guns and electronics, and sell them online to pay off drug debts.

A restitution hearing will be set at a later date. District Attorney Eric Toney says Sampson “not only robbed these victims of their property, but also of their sense of safety and security.”
