North Fond du Lac Police and Fire officials escorted Santa during a parade through the village Thursday night. Police Chief Darren Pautsch says he stopped at a couple of parks to distribute candy canes to kids and then they headed to the Community Center. At the Community Center Santa read the children “Twas the Night Before Christmas.” Chief Pautsch says during the parade through the village Santa made a special stop at a home to visit a little boy who was recently the victim of abuse.
