Schabusiness Ruled Competent To Stand Trial

The woman accused of killing and dismembering a Green Bay man will stand trial.

The ruling made Thursday morning followed weeks of questions as to the competency of Taylor Schabusiness to stand trial in the brutal killing of Shad Thyrion at a west side Green Bay home back in February.

Investigators say Schabusiness killed Thyrion in the midst of a drug fueled sexual encounter, then sexually abused his body before dismembering him.

Two psychologists testified last month that Schabusiness was, in fact, competent to stand trial. Schabusiness will be back in court on July 5th. She will then enter a plea.
