The School District of North Fond du Lac has narrowed its search for its next superintendent to two finalists whom the Board of Education will interview on Monday, June 20.

Both finalists for superintendent have Master’s and Doctor of Education (EdD) degrees and years of school administration experience. The finalists are:

  • Kevin Krutzik – Principal of Sheboygan Falls High School since 2018. Krutzik previously served as Assistant Principal of Fond du Lac High School and Principal of Oshkosh Lourdes Middle/High School. Before becoming a school administrator, he taught business and information technology at Manitowoc Lincoln High School and Washington Middle School in Manitowoc. Krutzik earned his Doctor of Education degree from Edgewood College in 2020.
  • Matthew Mineau – Principal of Appleton East High School and Appleton eSchool since 2011. Mineau previously was Principal of Tesla Engineering Charter School in Appleton, Associate Principal of Appleton East High School and Associate Principal of Green Bay East High School. He was a social studies teacher at Green Bay Preble High School and Brookfield Central High School before moving into school administration. Mineau earned his EdD from Cardinal Stritch University in 2018.

NFDL School Board President Steve Hock thanked families, staff and community members for completing a recent survey on the skills, values, experience and priorities they want to see in the next superintendent.

Priorities for the next superintendent include student achievement, leadership and cultural development, financial stewardship, and student and staff engagement and wellbeing.

“We truly appreciate the community feedback we received as we search for the best person to lead our great district,” Hock said.

The Board is searching for a new superintendent to succeed Aaron Sadoff, who will become executive director of the Fond du Lac Area Foundation after 16 years with the district as principal and superintendent. The school district hired a CESA 6 team to lead the NFDL Board of Education through search, hiring and onboarding.
