School Is Out Cyber Safety Is In
With kids out of school for the summer an official with the state’s Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection has some advice for their parents about online safety. Frank Frassetto recommends limiting the amount of time kids spend online and limit what they share on social media sites. He says kids should also exercise good manners online or over their smartphone. Frassetto urges parents to check privacy control features in their profiles. Other tips include talking to your children about what not to click on, establishing rules for downloading and disabling purchasing capabilities on their devices.
