School Politics

North Fond du Lac Schools Superintendent Aaron Sadoff says as a superintendent he does get a bit involved in politics and advocacy. He says earlier this month he attended an advocacy conference as a member of a school superintendents’ national network. That gave him the opportunity to meet with Wisconsin’s two U.S. Senators and eight House members. He says he’s come to realize that the partisanship and bickering is part of the process of arriving at mutual agreements. He says somehow politicians will find a middle ground and when a decision is made that neither party seems happy with, it is probably a good decision. He also is pleased to see progress on the state budget with more proposed funding for public education.
