School Shooting In MI Leaves 3 Dead, 6 Injured

A sophomore in high school opened fire Tuesday (11/30/2021) at a high school in Oxford, Michigan, killing 3 students and injuring 6.

Calls began pouring in just after 12:50 p.m. local time, with Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies responding to Oxford High School.

A 15-year old male suspect, considered to be the lone suspect, was taken into custody without incident, about five minutes of receiving the initial emergency call. A semi-automatic handgun thought to be used in the shooting was also recovered from the scene.

A press conference was held Tuesday afternoon, with local authorities confirming three students were killed, and six people injured, with one of the six a teacher at the school.
