Schreiner’s, Like Many Others, Is Changing And Adapting On The Fly

It’s no secret that the food service industry is taking some
of the biggest hits right now. Nate Haupt, General Manager at Schreiners
Restaurant in FDL, says it’s an unbelievable feeling right now…”the thing that kept me awake all night, was knowing I had to call all of our employees, and tell them we wouldn’t have work for them for the time being.” 

Haupt says,
just like everyone else, they’ve had to change and adapt on the fly. And
starting today “we will be offering curb-side pick up, with a limited menu. Folks just need to call and order and pay with a credit card. We’ll even have our staff bring the food, made hot and fresh, right to your car so you don’t even have to get out of your car.” 

Haupt also said, there is hope…”we have an amazing country, with amazing people making very hard decisions but making great decisions, and we just have to put our faith and hope in them. And our Lord. It’s all we can do.”
