Search Warrants Net 16 Pounds Of Meth And Cocaine

The Lake Winnebago Metropolitan Enforcement Group, better known as the MEG Unit, assisted The Appleton Police Department, Outagamie Sheriff’s Department and The Wisconsin Department of Justice-Division of Criminal Investigations serve six search warrants for drugs Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in the City of Appleton and Town of Grand Chute.

The search warrants, which were obtained as a result of ongoing narcotics investigations in the Fox Valley, netted approximately 16 pounds of methamphetamine and cocaine, nine guns, a large amount of cash and three vehicles. Several individuals were arrested as well.

According to the Appleton Police Department, the street value of the drugs is between $100,000 and $200,000.

The department is not releasing any other information at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
