Sebert Selected as New Superintendent of the Waukesha School District

Fond du Lac Schools Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert has
been selected as the new Superintendent for the Waukesha School District.

In a news release issued Monday, the Waukesha Board of
Education says Sebert was selected from a pool of three finalists for the job,
and will replace Dr. Todd Gray, who retired after 12 years in the position.

Waukesha School Board President Joseph Como said in the
release, “any of the three finalists were well qualified to do the job;
however, Dr. Sebert’s experience and attributed were the best fit for taking
the Waukesha School District to the next level.”

Como cited Sebert’s 11 years of leadership in Fond du
lac, and his “top attributes of being politically astute, student focused, open
minded, collaborative, involved in the community and embracing diversity” as
key reasons why he is the best fit to lead the district.

Sebert’s two-year contract with the Waukesha School
District begins July 1st.
