Second Shooting Suspect Arrested And Charged

A second man suspected of shooting off a gun
last month in Fond du Lac
was arrested and charged this week. Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says the
incident began with two men in the area of 6th and Main Streets. They had been
to the Main Pub and were outside of the tavern when the gun fired off into the
air. Klein says police got a description of a vehicle seen leaving the area and
tracked it down to a private driveway at 5th and Ellis, but the suspect, Marcus
Britton, took off on foot. Investigators were able to determine who he was and
the 29-year-old Fond du Lac
man was taken into custody Tuesday evening. Britton was charged in Fond du Lac County Court
Thursday morning. His bond was set at $40,000 cash and he has a preliminary
hearing on December 12th.
