Sex Offender Placement Hits A New Hurdle

There’s a new chapter in efforts to place two violent sex offenders in Dodge County. Monday Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt was informed that a property on Neuberger Road in the Town of Lowell where the two offenders were to be placed had been taken off the market. A Dodge County judge recently granted conditional approval to place 57-year-old Robert Larson in that Reeseville home. It looked like 30-year-old Jonathan Miller would be placed there as well. The state’s Department of Health Services will continue to look for a place to house the two sex offenders. Last year the pair was placed in a home in Brownville, but it was too close to an adjacent home where children lived and the two sex offenders were taken out of that residence.
