Shed Fire Near Press Box

Fond du Lac Firefighters were dispatched for a shed fire Tuesday night on Forest Avenue. The call came in at 9:19 p.m. for a fire in a vacant building across from the Press Box Tavern. The vacant building was located between the railroad tracks and the Fond du Lac River. Division Chief of Fire Prevention Troy Haase says they found a small fire that caused moderate damage to the floor of the structure. He says whether the fire was intentional or accidental it was caused by human intervention. The Fond du Lac Police Department assisted with traffic and scene control.
