“Slender Man” Attacker Asks To Be Released

One of the two attackers in the Slender Man case made her case Thursday afternoon to be released from a mental treatment center.

Morgan Geyser was committed in 2018 for joining Anissa Weier in a stabbing attack on a classmate when they were twelve years old.

The girls say they believed the fictional character Slender Man was real, and they thought a human sacrifice would appease him. The victim pulled through.

Weier was granted conditional release to her father last September. She’s being tracked with a G-P-S monitor. Geyser was sentenced to 40 years of treatment and confinement.
