Spartans Run By Fondy
The Oshkosh North boys basketball team completed the season sweep on Fond du Lac with a 68-49 win at North on Friday night. Frank Schade’s Spartans were never really challenged by the Cardinals as they opened up a 40-22 lead at the half. Fondy never got any closer than 15 points the rest of the way. Fondy turned it over 21 times on the night. The FVA’s leading scorer Cooper Radtke led North with 27 points. Nathan Neveau added 18 in the win. Collin Pickart paced the Cardinals with 11 points while Joe Schorse added 10. Fondy has lost three straight games and now sits at 6-7 in the FVA and 8-7 overall. North stays a game back of league leader Neenah with an 11-2 mark. They improve to 14-3 overall. Fond du Lac will travel to Appleton North on Tuesday night.
