After two days off the Brewers jump back into action tonight as they open up a three game series in St. Louis.  Kyle Lohse will get the start against his former team.  The Cardinals will send Shelby Miller to the hill.  Coverage begins at 6:40pm.  The first pitch is set for 7:15pm.

Grienke Hurt In Brawl

Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke broke his collar bone in a bench clearing brawl last night in their 3-2 over the Padres.  San Diego’s Carlos Quentin charged the mound in the 6th inning when he was hit in the shoulder on a full-count pitch in a 2-1 game.  Greinke got hurt in the scrum that lasted more than 10 minutes.  After the game the Dodgers Matt Kemp went after Quentin as the players walked to the parking lot after the game and had to be broken up by players and security.

Sergio Garcia and Marc Leishman fired 6-under par 66’s to take the first round lead at The Masters.  Dustin Johnson is one shot back.  Tiger Woods shot a 70, Phil Mickelson a 71 and Steve Stricker 73.

The Bucks are on the road tonight in Atlanta.  They play at Charlotte on Saturday night.

 

UWGB’s Wardle Under Investigation

The parents of a former walk-on player at UW-Green Bay have alleged that coach Brian Wardle verbally and emotionally abused their son.  7-1 center Ryan Bross’s parents say their son was treated inappropriately while in the Phoenix program.  Wardle released a statement saying he was supportive of the process. Bross redshirted last year and will transfer to Concordia, Mequon.
