The
Cardinals blanked the Brewers 4-0 in their series finale on Thursday
afternoon.  John Lackey struck out 8 and
gave up just five hits in 7 scoreless innings to pick up the win.  The Brewers open up a three game weekend
series in Pittsburgh
tonight.   Jimmy Nelson takes on Jeff
Locke.  Coverage begins at 5:30pm on
KFIZ.  The first pitch at PNC Park
is set for 6:05pm.

 

The Bucks
will hit the practice floor today as they get ready for their 1st
round Eastern Conference playoff opener against the Bulls in Chicago
Game one of the best of seven series is set for 6pm.  Our coverage on Saturday night is set for
5:40pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

 

The NFL has
reinstated Vikings running back Adrian Petersen.  The All-Pro was suspended all of last season
in the aftermath of child abuse charges. 
Starting today he can participate in all team activities.

 

The Packers
will be back in Green Bay
this weekend as Monday officially begins their offseason program.  The front office is getting ready for the NFL
Draft which starts on Thursday night, April 30th.  The Packers have the 30th pick in
the 1st round.

 

One of the
longest tenured people tied to the Green Bay Packers has died.  Lee Remmel who’s was connected to the Packers
organization for over 62 years passed away on Thursday.  Remmel covered his first Packer game for the
Green Bay Press Gazette in 1945 and after 29 years covering the team joined the
team’s front office 1974. He  was there
until he retired in 2007. Lee Remmel was 90 years old.  

 

Matt Every
and Graham McDowell share the first round lead at the RBC Heritage on the PGA
Tour at -5.  Madison’s Jerry Kelly is five shots off the
pace at even par.
