Minnesota won The NIT last night with a 65-63 win over
SMU. 

 

The Packers are bringing
back one of their leaders.  John Kuhn’s
agent announced on Thursday that the veteran fullback has agreed to a one year
contract that could be worth about $1-milllion-dollars.

 

The Brewers open up a three
game series in Boston
this afternoon.  It’s the home opener at Fenway Park.  Marco Estrada takes on Jake Peavy.  Coverage begins at 12:30pm with the first

The Fond du Lac Bears hockey team hosts the Great
Lakes Hockey League Tournament this weekend at The Blue Line Family Ice
Center.  All 9 teams from the league will
be in action starting today at 11am. 
Action will run all day on Saturday with the championship game set for Sunday
at 1:30pm.  The Fond
du Lac
Bears will play at 8:30pm tonight against Eagle River.  They wrap up pool play on Saturday at 1:00pm
against Mosinee.
