Arizona 23
Minnesota 20 – Cardinals clinch a playoff spot

The Packers and
Cowboys will face off at Lambeau Field on Sunday. Green Bay has lost two straight and
home.  The Cowboys are 4-8 but just a
game back in the NFC East race.  Coverage
begins at 1pm with the kickoff set for 3:25pm on KFIZ.

Wisconsin linebacker Joe Schobert earned 2nd team Walter Camp
All-America on Thursday.  The senior pass
rusher adds that honor on the heels of being named Butkus-Fitzgerald Big Ten
Linebacker of the Year and a first-team All-Big Ten selection.

The Bucks host Toronto tonight at BMO Harris Bradley Center.  The tip set for 7:10pm tonight.

The Brewers
continue to add players to their farm system.
The team acquired minor league catcher Manny Pina from Detroit to complete the deal for Francisco
Rodriguez.  The team also picked up 3B
Garin Cecchini in exchange for cash.  The
team plucked infielder Colin Walsh from the A’s organization, and right-handed
pitcher Zack Jones from the Twins, in the Major League phase of Thursday’s Rule
5 Draft.

The Fond du Lac boys
basketball team lost a heartbreaker at Oshkosh North 68-65 in overtime on Thursday
night.  The Cardinals led by 13 in the 1st
half. North chipped away and finally caught the Cardinals at 56-56 with 2:07
left and built a 61-56 lead with 1:05 left in regulation.  The Cardinals battled back, as Drew Jorgensen
buried a three pointer and Sam Fredrickson tied it with a short jumper in the
lane late.   Fondy scored the 1st four
points of the OT, before North scored the final eight to pick up the win.  Fredrickson led Fondy with a career high 37
points.  Shane Wissink led North (3-2,
1-1) with 19.  Fondy (1-3, 0-2) will
travel to Appleton North on Friday, December 18th.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.
