War of Words

Its been an old-school Packers-Bears week with lots of trash talking between the teams.  It started with Bears WR Brandon Marshall ripping Packers defensive backs for comments they made after Green Bay’s 23-10 win earlier this season.  The Bears were then upset where Jerimichael Finley suggested that the Bears defense was better with Brian Urlacher not in the lineup.  That’s caused Lance Briggs to call Finley and idiot yesterday.  A win by the Packers at Soldier Field on Sunday will clinch the NFC North Green Bay.  Coverage begins at 10am with the kickoff set for Noon on KFIZ.

Packer’s Re-Sign So’oto

A few days after cutting linebacker Vic So’oto, the Packers resigned the 2nd year lineman to the practice squad.  He was cut to make room for defensive lineman Jordan Miller on the active roster.

Bucks Banged Up & Sick

The Bucks are in Cleveland tonight and nobody’s sure who will be available.  Benu Udrih, Mike Dunleavy, and Tobias Harris are all out with injuries.  Epke Udoh may miss the game with a wrist injury.  Doron Lamb and Larry Sanders are both sick.

Baseball Signings

The LA Angles have signed free agent outfielder Josh Hamilton to a 5-year, $125 million dollar contract.  Pitcher Ryan Dempster gets a contract with the Red Sox.  The Brewers had interest in Dempster.
