Badgers Stumble
Bo Ryan’s Badgers went about 11 minutes in the 2nd half and overtime without a basket in a 58-53 overtime loss at Minnesota on Thursday night. Sam Dekker had 14 points and Ben Brust 11 in the loss. It was UW’s 3rd straight overtime game.
Brewers Report
The entire Brewers roster must report to their Spring Training home in Maryvale, Arizona today. The first full squad workout is Saturday. The first Cactus League game is next Friday, and the first radio broadcast is March 1st here on KFIZ.
Fondy Boys Hockey Wins Regional
Rex Whealon scored a pair of goals as Fond du Lac beat Sussex Hamilton 5-1 in the Regional Final on Thursday at the Blue Line. The Cardinals will play either St. Mary’s Springs or Cedarburg in the Sectional Semifinal on Tuesday night at the Blue Line. You’ll hear that game on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.
