The Packers will leave for Seattle today in preparations for Sunday’s
NFC Championship Game.  That’s a day
earlier than they normally leave for a road game.  Sunday’s game kicks off at 2pm.  Our coverage begins at 11am on News-Talk 1450

The Milwaukee Bucks sent the New York Knicks to their 16th
straight loss with a 95-79 win in London
on Thursday afternoon. OJ Mayo had 21 and Brandon Knight 20 in the win.  The Bucks host Toronto on Monday night.

 

Frank Kaminsky scored 22 points as the Badgers stopped Nebraska 70-55 at the Kohl
Center on Thursday night at the Kohl Center.
  Nigel Hayes added 13 as five Badgers
scored in double figures.  The Badgers
host Iowa on
Tuesday.

 

Oakland dealt UW-Green Bay their first Horizon League loss
69-66 on Thursday night.  Kiefer Sykes
led the Phoenix
with 19.  Green Bay
is at Detroit
on Saturday.

 

The Marian men’s basketball team evened their season record
at 8-8 with an 82-65 win at Lakeland
on Thursday night.  The Sabres outscored
the Muskies 47-29 in the second half to turn a one point deficit into the 17
point win.  Josh Creed had 20 points and
10 rebounds to lead Marian.   The Sabres
host Benedictine on Saturday at 4:15pm.
