The Lakers beat the Bucks 72-68 at the Las Vegas Summer League Tournament last night.  John Henson led the Bucks with 16 points and 13 rebounds.  Former Badger Marcus Landry had 18 for the Lakers.  Milwaukee will wrap up summer league play today with a consolation game against the Spurs.

 

Brewers

The Brewers begin the 2nd half of their season tonight as they open a three game weekend series with Miami at Miller Park.  Kyle Lohse gets the start for Milwaukee.  The Brewers are 38-56 and sit in last place in the National League Central Division. Coverage begins at 6:35pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

 

Brewers Set Rotation

Manager Ron Roenicke has set his starting rotation for the 2nd half of the season.  After Kyle Lohse goes tonight, he’ll send out Yovani Gallardo, Wily Peralta, Tom Gorzelanny and Donovan Hand.

 

Packers

One week from today the Packers will be gearing up for their first workout of training camp.  The Packers first preseason game is August 9th against Kansas City at Lambeau Field.  KFIZ is once again your home for Green Bay Packers football. 

 

British Open

Zach Johnson was your first round leader at the British Open after shooting a five-under par 66.  He’ll tee off just after 9am Wisconsin time.  Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson both fired two under par, 69s.. Rory McIlroy shot an 8-over par 79.
