homer in the 9th lifted the Brewers to an 8-6 win over the Dodgers
last night in Los Angeles.  Aaron Hill and Chris Carter also went deep in
the win.  Tyler Thornburg notched the win

LeBron James scored 41 points
for the 2nd straight game as Cleveland
forced a Game 7 of the NBA Finals with a 115-101 victory over Golden State
on Thursday night.  The Cavs will try to
become the 1st team to rally from a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals on
Sunday night in Oakland.

 

The Bucks will host a ground
breaking ceremony for their new arena on Saturday.  The event will also serve as the team’s 2nd
annual block party and will run from 11am to 4pm.

 

The Packers wrapped up their
final mini-camp of the offseason on Thursday. 
The players will be off until they will report to training camp on July
25th and  hit the practice
field for the first practice on July 26th.  The Packers 1st preseason game is
the Hall of Fame Game in Canton,
Ohio
against the Colts on August
7th.

 

The Packers announced a pair
of front office moves on Thursday. 
Jon-Eric Sullivan has been promoted to director of college scouting.  Former Packer safety Charlie Peprah has also
been hired as a scouting assistant.

 

Rain washed out much of round
1 of the U.S. Open at Oakmont.  They were
out early this morning trying to finish up round 1.  Very few golfers completed their 1st
round on Thursday and many never even got off the first tee because of heavy
rain in the Pittsburgh
area.   They will try and complete round
1 and 2 today.
