The Badgers are one and done
in the Big Ten Tournament after Nebraska took
down Bucky 70-58 at Indianapolis.  Ethan Happ had 17 points and 7 rebounds in
the loss. Wisconsin
sits at 20-12 and will wait for Selection Sunday to see where they end up in
the NCAA Tournament.


Also in the Big Ten
Tournament, Illinois upset #20 Iowa 68-60.  Michigan
beat Northwestern 72-70 in OT, and Ohio
State stopped Penn State


#5 Xavier knocked Marquette out of the Big East Tournament 92-75 at Madison Square Garden.
 At 20-13 Marquette is most likely headed to The NIT.


The Packers resigned
linebacker Nick Perry on Thursday.  The
Packers tendered a contract to tight end Justin Perillo but decided to let
linebacker Andy Mulumba become a free agent.


Once again the Packers stay
silent in the free agent market. Former Denver
linebacker Danny Trevathon, who many thought would be a good fit in Green Bay signed with the
Bears, and actually told the media on Thursday he wished the Packers had
offered him a contract.


The Giants beat the Brewers
3-1 on Thursday in Cactus League play.  Jimmy
nelson gave up 1 run, 2 hits and walked three in 2 innings of work.   The Brewers face the Rangers this
afternoon.  Coverage begins at 1:55pm on


The Marian baseball team
improved to 6-3 on their trip to Tucson, Arizona with a 9-4 win over St. John’s, Minnesota.  The Sabres wrap up their trip to Tucson, Arizona today
with a game against Wesleyan, Connecticut


The Marian
University softball team wrapped up
their trip in Fort Myers Florida by splitting a pair of games. The
Sabres lost to Kenyon 13-10 and then beat Alfred State
11-2.  Marian is now 9-5 on the season
and is set to host Ripon at March 29th
