The Dodgers blew by the Brewers 14-4 on Thursday afternoon
to earn a series split at Miller
Park
.  Yasmani Grandal went 4×4 with a pair of home
runs and 8 RBI to lead the Dodgers.  Mike
Fiers gave up five runs and five hits in five innings and gets hung with the
loss.  He struck out 8.  Adam Lind hit his 6th homer of the
season in the loss.  The Cubs come to Miller Park
for a three game weekend series.  Jimmy
Nelson faces Jason Hammel tonight in Game 1.

their first taste of the NFL this weekend as the team holds their Rookie
Orientation Camp today and Saturday.  The
full squad Organized Team Activities begin on May 28th

Benedictine scored four times in the 1st inning
and never looked back, knocking off the Marian baseball team 13-7 in the 1st
round of the NACC Tournament in Mequon
on Thursday afternoon.  The Sabres will
play Aurora in
an elimination game this morning at 10am. 
It they win, they play again at 4pm.

 

The Sabres had
seven players on the All-NACC Baseball Team. 
Tony Grannis, TJ McCoy, Adam Ryan, Bryce Taylor and Earl Vorpagel earned
First Team All-NACC honors. Tanner Biwer and Jordan DeBoer garnered Second Team
All-NACC accolades.  Head coach Jason
Bartelt was named the NACC Coach of the Year.

 

The Big Ten has set the kickoff time for the Badgers
non-conference football game at Camp Randall against Hawaii on September 26th at 7pm.
