The Badger men’s
basketball team opens up their regular season tonight as they host Western
Illinois at the Kohl
Center
.  Coverage begins at 7pm on KFIZ with the tip
at 8pm.

 

Marquette is home tonight as they host Belmont in the Legends Classic.   UW-Milwaukee plays Denver
tonight in Santa Clara, California in the Cable Car Classic. UW-Green Bay begins the Linc Darner era at Stanford
tonight.  The Marian men’s basketball
team opens their season on Saturday afternoon at Finlandia.

The Packers will
host Detroit on
Sunday at Lambeau Field.  Green Bay has lost two
straight games.  Coverage begins at 10am
with the kickoff set for Noon on KFIZ.

 

The Badger
football team has the weekend off.  They
will host Northwestern on November 21st.  They still haven’t announced a kickoff time
for the Badgers and Wildcats.

 

Badger running
back Corey Clement suffered a cut to his hand following an incident at his
off-campus apartment early Sunday morning. 
UW Athletic Department officials say he was returning to his residence
when he witnessed a verbal dispute between a security guard and group of individual
when he and the security guard were assaulted. 
No other information has been released because its an on-going police
investigation.

 

The WIAA state
football playoffs have reached semifinal. 
Tonight in Division One, defending champ Kimberly plays Marquette
at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh.  The other semifinal has Arrowhead and Franklin playing at
Kettle Moraine.  Flyway champion Omro
will face Lodi at West Bend tonight in a Division Four
Semifinal.

 

The St. Mary’s
Springs football team will travel to Schofield on Saturday afternoon for a WIAA
Division Six State Semifinal against Grantsburg at DC Everest High School.
Coverage begins at 2:30pm with the kickoff at 3pm on KFIZ.
