The WIAA football playoffs get
going with level two action across the state this weekend.  Tonight, Fond du Lac
will host a playoff game for the first time since 2009 as Germantown comes to Fruth Field.  You’ll hear that game on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ
and streaming at kfiz.com.  Coverage
begins at 6:05pm with the Backyard Grill Pregame Show.  The kickoff is set for 7pm.  Also tonight in Division Four, Campbellsport
will host Freedom and in Division Five, Laconia
travels to #1 ranked Lancaster.  On Saturday afternoon, WLA hosts Kewaunee in
a D5 game.  You’ll hear it on K107.1 with
the kickoff at 1pm.  Saturday night in
Division Six, St. Mary’s Springs hosts Deerfield.  You’ll hear that game on News-Talk 1450
KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 6:30pm with the
kickoff at 7pm presented by BCI Burke Company.

boys volleyball team hosts Neenah
in a playoff opener tonight.  The game
time has been moved up to 5:30pm so you can catch that match then head to Fruth
for the football game.

 

The state’s top high school
basketball player is going west. 
Milwaukee Hamilton’s Kevon Looney announced on Thursday that he will
attend UCLA.

 

The Badgers are ranked #20 in the
USA Today Coaches Men’s Basketball Poll and #21 in the AP Poll.  Marquette
is #17 in both polls.

The Bucks are back in action
tonight as are in Boston.  The home opener is Saturday night against the

The Packers host the Bears on
Monday Night Football. Coverage will begin at 5pm with the kickoff at
