The St. Mary’s Springs Academy
football team won their 2nd straight WIAA Division Six State
Football Championship with a 39-20 win over Darlington on Thursday afternoon at
Madison’s Camp
Randall Stadium.  Sophomore Clay
Schueffner ran for 233 yards and a pair of touchdowns while junior Fintan Floyd
carried the ball 28 times for 184 yards and three TDs as the Ledger pounded out
430 yards on the ground in the win.  QB
Blake Bauer also ran for a TD in the Springs victory.  The Ledgers have won six WIAA state football
championships to go along with their 8 WISAA crowns to make it 14 total titles
in school history.

took down the Bucks 115-100 last night in Cleveland.  Giannis had 33 to lead the Bucks.  LeBron James had 27 to pace the Cavs.  The Bucks play at Indiana on Saturday night.

Georgia Tech blew
out UW-Green Bay 107-77 last night. Charles Cooper
was the only Green Bay
player in double figures with 14. The Phoenix
host Minnesota-Duluth on Sunday at Noon.


The Badger men’s
basketball team will face Georgetown this
afternoon in the 2K Classic at Madison
Square Garden
Coverage begins at 3pm with the tip set for 4pm on KFIZ.  Wisconsin
will then play either Duke or VCU on Sunday.

The Badger
football team will host Northwestern on Saturday in their home finale for

this weekend for a matchup with the NFC North leading Vikings.  Green
trails the Vikings by a game and need to win to
stop a three game losing streak.  That
game kicks off at 3:15pm and our coverage begins at 1pm on KFIZ.
