The WIAA football playoffs continue tonight with 2nd round
action across the state.  Fond du Lac will play host to Neenah tonight at Fruth Memorial Field.  Coverage on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ begins at
5:30pn with the Tim Cruz Agency American Family Insurance Kickoff Show.  Jim Bond joins me for the broadcast.   Also in Division 5 tonight, Winnebago
Lutheran heads to Amherst
and in Division Six, St. Mary’s Springs is on the road at
Iola-Scandinavia.   Oakfield heads to
Schofield on Saturday for the 8-Man Jamboree. 
They kickoff at 1pm against New Auburn.

The Kansas City Royals take a 2-0 series lead into Game 3 of the World
Series tonight in New York.  The Royals won both game in Kansas City
The Mets host the next three.

today as they get ready for a matchup with the unbeaten Broncos.  Coverage begins at 5pm on Sunday night with

The Wisconsin Badgers will host Rutgers on Saturday at Camp Randall.
 The kickoff is set for 11am with
coverage beginning at 9am on KFIZ.   


The Bucks host the Washington Wizards tonight at BMO Harris Bradley Center.  The tip is set for 7pm.

State Cross Country on Saturday

A handful of local runners have qualified
for the state cross country meet this Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids.  In Division One, Fond du Lac’s Annie Moore and Ally Gietzel will
be running.   In Division Two, Waupun’s
Hannah Smith and Lomira’s Kaytlin Kuczkowski will be running.  For the boys in D2, Waupun’s Kyle Smith and
Ripon’s Seth Zimdar have made it to state. 
In Division Three, WLA’s Sarah Niehueser and St. Mary’s Springs’ Page
Case and Megan Krupp have made it.  The Laconia boys cross
country team has also qualified for the state meet.
