Fond du Lac’s Fruth Field hosts one of the premiere games in the state
tonight as 3rd ranked Fond du Lac
hosts 8th ranked Neenah.  Both teams are 4-0 on the season and 2-0 in
Valley Football Association South Division play.  Coverage on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ begins at
5:30pm with the Tim Cruz Agency American Family Insurance Kickoff Show. The
game starts at 7pm.   Jim Bond joins me
for the play by play and the game also streams at kfiz.com

They will open
up their new stadium tonight in Lomira as the Lions host St. Mary’s
Springs.  You’ll hear that game on K107.1
presented by BCI Burke Company.  That
game kicks at 7pm.

Tony Cruz
singled home Matt Adams in the bottom of the 13th as St. Louis beat the
Brewers 3-2 on Thursday night.  The
Brewers held a 2-0 lead in the 8th when Mark Reynolds thought there
were two outs.  He took a grounder
stepped on 1st and started to walk off the field. The problem, there
was only one out, the inning continued and St. Louis scored two runs to tie the
game.  The loss drops the Brewers 6 games
behind St. Louis in the division and 3.5 games
behind Pittsburgh
for the final Wild Card spot.  The
Pirates beat the Red Sox 3-2.  The Cubs
also lost to the Dodgers 8-4.  Milwaukee opens a three game set in Pittsburgh tonight.

After finding
out Nashville opted out of being the Brewers
Triple-A minor league affiliate, the Brewers inked a two year deal to play at Colorado Springs

The Packers
travel to Detroit
for a Sunday matchup with the Lions. Linebacker Brad Jones sat out practice and
most likely wont play on Sunday.  You’l
ll hear it on KFIZ.  Coverage begins at
10am with kickoff set for Noon.
