The Brewers open a three game series in Pittsburgh tonight. The crew is coming off a 1-0 loss to Cincinnati on Sunday, which the Reds won on a passed ball by Jonathan Lucroy in the bottom of the ninth inning. Tonight, Junior Guerra goes for the Brewers, he’s 6-2 with a 3.06 ERA and has won three of his last four starts. The Pirates counter with Jameson Taillon (TIE-own), he’s 2-1 with a 3.86 ERA. Pregame is at 5:30, first pitch at 6:05 on News/Talk 1450 KFIZ.

Dayton Dragons Third Basemen Nick Senzel went 4-for-5 with two singles, a triple, a stolen base, a home run, and four RBI to lead the Midwest League affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds to an 8-3 win over the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Monday Night in Dayton. The Rattlers are off tonight and will open a series against Fort Wayne at home Wednesday evening

Former Packers quarterback Brett Favre plans to make another special trip back to Lambeau Field. The team announced on Monday that Favre will appear at a ceremony at halftime of Green Bay’s game on October 16th  against Dallas. The ceremony will honor Favre’s induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which will take place on Aug. 6 in Canton, Ohio. He returned to Green Bay last Thanksgiving, when the team unveiled his retired No. 4 on the Lambeau facade. In the October ceremony, Favre’s name will be unveiled on the stadium facade alongside other former Packers in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The Milwaukee Bucks have re-signed restricted free agent center Miles Plumlee.to a four-year deal worth $52 million. The 6-foot-11 Plumlee averaged 5.1 points and 3.8 rebounds in 61 games last season, his fourth season in the league and first full year in Milwaukee. Plumlee received more playing time in the second half, giving the team an athletic spark off the bench. He started 14 games. The return of Plumlee gives the Bucks three big men to rotate in the paint, including Greg Monroe and defensive-minded John Henson.
