The Packers offseason program
begins today.  Green Bay has 71 players under contract who
will be attending.  Offensive lineman Don
Barclay is expected to one of those players as he will reportedly sign a
contract today.  John Kuhn will not
participate as he is unsigned.

 

A five run third innings
lifted the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 9-3 win over the Brewers on Sunday afternoon
at PNC Park. 
 Zach Davies gave up six runs and
8 hits in just 2 and a third innings of work. 
Milwaukee
scored all three of their runs in the 4^th.  The Crew opens up a series in Minnesota tonight.  Coverage begins at 6:35pm on KFIZ.

A pair of UW-Milwaukee men’s
basketball players have bolted the programs after head coach Rob Jeter was
fired.  Akeem Springs announced on Friday
he would transfer to Minnesota while on Sunday
Austin Arians said he’ll play at Wake
Forest.

 

Carl Edwards won the NASCAR
Sprint Cup race at Bristol
on Sunday.  Wisconsin
native Matt Kenseth had engine issues and finished 36^th.  Eau
Claire’s Paul Menard was 15^th.

 

Brandon Grace won the RBC Heritage
Classic on the PGA Tour by two shots over Russell Knox and Luke Donald.
