The Brewers used the long
ball to beat Philadelphia 8-5 on Sunday
afternoon at Miller
Park
.  Ryan Braun, Scooter Gennett and Alex Presley
all went deep in the win.  Wily Peralta
gave up 4 runs and 7 hits in six innings to pick up his first win of the season.  Jeremy Jeffress picked up his 6th
save of the season.  The Brewers take
today off and open up a three game set at Wrigley Field against the Cubs on
Tuesday night.

ready for this weekend’s NFL Draft.  Green Bay has the 27th
pick in Thursday’s 1st round.

 

The Wisconsin Badgers wrapped
up their spring practice with their Spring Game at Camp Randall Stadium. 

 

Charley Hoffman’s birdie on
the 72nd hole gave him a one shot win at the Texas Open on the PGA
Tour with a four round total of -12. 
Patrick Reed was one shot off the pace. Wisconsin
native Mark Wilson tied for 25th
Madison’s
Jerry Kelly tied for 65th.

 

Carl Edwards won the NASCAR
Sprint Cup race at Richmond.  Kyle Busch was 2nd.  As for the Wisconsin
drivers, Matt Kenseth was 7th and Paul Menard was 22nd

 

Edgewood swept the Marian
baseball on Sunday 3-2, and 6-4 in Madison.  The Sabres host Ripon on Wednesday.

 

The Marian softball team
split a doubleheader with Aurora
on Sunday.  The dropped the opener 14-4
but bounced back in game two to pick up a 6-5 win.  Tony Draves’ squad is 20-14 on the
season.  They host UW-Oshkosh on Tuesday.
