Khris Davis clubbed a pair of
two-run homers including the game winner in the 8th to give the
Brewers a 5-4 win over the Cardinals on Sunday afternoon at Miller ParkDavis
8th inning round-tripper came off of former Brewer Jonathan
Broxton.  Will Smith picked up the win
and Francisco Rodriguez notched save #26 on the season.  The Brewers take Monday off and then open up
a three game set with the Cubs at Wrigley Field on Tuesday night.

After taking Sunday off the
Packers get back on the practice field this afternoon.  Green
will begin workouts at 12:15pm this
afternoon.  Green Bay
will have an 11:45am practice on Tuesday before heading to Boston
for their Thursday night preseason opener with New England.  You’ll hear that game on KFIZ.

longtime ABC Monday Night Football broadcaster Frank Gifford passed away Sunday
at the age of 84. 


The Badgers open up training
camp today in Madison.  It’s the 1st camp under head coach
Paul Chryst.  UW opens the season on
September 5th against Alabama in Texas.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.


Ireland’s Shane Lowry won for the 1st time on the
PGA Tour with a two shot victory at the Bridgestone Invitational on Sunday in Akron, Ohio.  Lowry finished the four day event at
-10.  Bubba Watson finished 2nd
at -8.


Golf’s best are in the Sheboygan area for this
weekend’s PGA Championship at Whistling Straits.  There will be practice rounds today through
Wednesday.  The grounds are open for
those holding tickets the next three days from 7am to 7:30pm.


Joey Logano passed Kevin
Harvick on the final turn to win the NASCAR Sprint Cup Race at Watkins Glenn on
Sunday.  Kyle Busch ended up 2nd
and Harvick 3rd.  Matt Kenseth
was 4thEau Claire’s Paul Menard was 13th.
