The Super Bowl matchup is set after an exciting Championship
Sunday.  Peyton Manning threw for 400
yards and 2 TDs in Denver’s 26-16 win over New England to claim the AFC Title.  Malcom Smith’s interception in the end zone
off of deflected pass by Richard Sherman gave Seattle
their 2nd NFC crown with a 23-17 win over San Francisco.  Marshawn Lynch ran for 109 yards and Russell
Wilson threw for a TD in the win for Seattle.  Colin Kaepernick ran for 130 yards but threw
two interceptions and lost a fumble for the Niners.  So it will be Denver
against Seattle in Super Bowl XLVIII in New Jersey on February 2nd.  You’ll hear it on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

Bay
has won 10 straight
games with a 69-64 win at Illinois-Chicago. 
The Phoenix
are 15-3 overall and 5-0 in Horizon League play.  Marquette is on
the road tonight at Georgetown.

 

San Antonio
thumped the Bucks 110-82 on Sunday night.  
Brandon Knight had 21 for the Bucks who are winless in 2014.  Their losing streak sits at 9 games. 

 

23-year-old Patrick Reed won the Humana Challenge on the PGA
Tour in Hawaii
on Sunday.  Reed was 2 shots better than
Ryan Palmer at 28-under par.  Jerry Kelly
tied for 13th
