Brewers Walk-Off Win

Caleb Gindl’s solo homer in the 13th lifted the Brewers to a 1-0 win over the Miami Marlins on Sunday afternoon.  The win completed a three game sweep that saw the Brewers pitching staff shut-out Miami in all three games.  It’s the first time Milwaukee has just a team out in three straight games since 1990.  Wily Peralta struck out seven and gave up just two hits in 8 shutout innings.  John Axford picks up the win.  Brewers pitchers have not allowed a run in 35 innings.  The Crew opens up a series with San Diego tonight at Miller Park.  Coverage begins at 6:35pm pm on KFIZ.
