21-year-old Jordan Spieth won the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay on Sunday.  The reigning Master champ birdied the 18^th
hole and then watched Dustin Johnson three putt from 12 feet to give him the
win.  Johnson and Louis Oosthuizen finish
one shot back at -4 for the tournament.  

 

The United States
women’s soccer team will play Colombia
tonight in the knockout round of the Women’s World Cup in Canada. The
match begins tonight at 7pm.

 

The Colorado Rockies hammered the Brewers 10-4 on Sunday in Denver.  Matt Garza gave up 10 runs and 13 hits in 5
and a third innings to take the loss.  The
Brewers take Monday off then open up a three game set with the Mets at Miller Park
on Tuesday night.
