Ryan Braun and Adam Lind each
hit 2-run homers in the 8th to lift the Brewers to a 5-3 win over
the Twins on Sunday at Miller
Park
.  Will Smith pitched a scoreless 8th
to pick up the win in relief of Mike Fiers. 
Fiers gave up just four hits and 1 run in 7 innings of work.  Francisco Rodriguez gave up a pair of runs in
the 9th.  The Brewers open up
a four game series in Philadelphia
tonight. Jimmy Nelson takes on Sean O’Sullivan. Coverage begins at 5:30pm.

As expected, LeBron James has
opted out of his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers after just one
season.  James is technically a free
agent, but he will resign with the Cavs for a max deal of $22 million dollars
per season.  Former Buck Brandon Knight
will break the bank as a free agent. 
He’s expected to get a 5-year, $70 million dollar contract with Phoenix.

 

Bubba Watson won The
Travelers Championship on the PGA Tour. 
Watson birdied the 2nd playoff hole to defeat Paul
Casey.  Wisconsin
native Mark Wilson tied for 7th.

 

Jeff Maggert won the U.S.
Senior Open by two shots over Colin Montgomerie.

 

The Fond du Lac Post 75 American Legion baseball
team is on the road tonight at Oakfield. 
They will throw the 1st pitch at 6pm.
