Bo Ryan’s Badgers have earned a #2 seed in the West Region
and will face #15 seed American in the 2nd round of the NCAA
Tournament on Thursday in Milwaukee.  The winner will face either BYU or Oregon in the 2nd
round.  The Badger game tips at 11:40am
central.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ. Talk about
the Badgers NCAA Tournament matchup tonight at 7pm during The Bo Ryan Show on

Milwaukee gets a #15 seed and
will play #2 seed Villanova in the East Region at Buffalo on Thursday.  That game tips at 5:55pm central.

UW-Green Bay will host Belmont
on Tuesday night in the first round of the NIT. 
The NIT did not give Marquette
a post season bid so their year ends at 17-15.

The Bucks lost their 4th straight with a 101-92
loss at Charlotte
on Sunday afternoon. Brandon Knight had 21 and Ramon Sessions 18 to pace Milwaukee.

 

John Senden won the Valspar Championship by one shot over
Kevin Na on the PGA Tour in Florida
on Sunday.

 

Ron Roenicke got ejected as the Brewers fell to Arizona 6-5 on Sunday in
Cactus League play.  The Brewers skipper
got ejected in the 9th as the D-Backs rallied for three runs to
win.  Yovani Gallardo gave up three runs
and seven hits in five innings of work. 
The Brewers play the White Sox today.

The St. Mary’s Springs
girls basketball team earned their first ever trip to the WIAA State Girls
Basketball Tournament on Saturday night with a win over Whitefish Bay Dominican
in the Sectional Final.  The Ledgers will
face defending champion Algoma on Thursday night at 6:35pm in the Division Four
Semifinals at The Resch Center in Green
