The NCAA Final Four is
set.  #10 seed Syracuse rallied by #1
seed Virginia 68-62 to win the Midwest Region while #1 seed North Carolina
dumped #6 seed Notre Dame 88-74 to win the East Region.  Oklahoma
and Villanova advanced to the Final Four with wins on Saturday night.  The national semifinals in Houston are set for Saturday night and the National
Championship Game is a one week from tonight.

Scotter Gennett hit a pair of
homers but that wasn’t enough as Cleveland
beat the Brewers 10-3 in Cactus League action on Sunday afternoon.  Taylor Jungmann got lit up for four runs and
six hits in four and 2/3 innings of work. 
The Brewers play the Reds tonight. 
Coverage begins at 8:55pm. 
Opening Day is one week from today at Miller Park
as the Brewers host the Giants.

 

Brewers reliever Will Smith
will miss significant time this season after tearing his LCL in his right knee
while taking his shoe off.  Jeremy
Jeffress is expected to be the teams closer to start the season.

 

The University of Wisconsin
is ready to hire former Badger Tony Granato as their new head men’s hockey
coach.  Granato played for the Badgers
and has also been a head coach in the NHL.

 

Jason Day reclaimed the #1
ranking in the world by winning the Dell Match Play event.  Day took down Rory McIlroy in the semifinals
and then beat Louis Oosthuizen in the finals.
