It was a big weekend St. Mary’s Springs Academy
basketball.  The Ledger girls won their
Division Four Sectional Final over Whitefish Bay Dominican 56-34 on Saturday
afternoon at Hartland Arrowhead.  The
Ledgers will facing defending champion Cuba
City in the D4 Semifinals on Thursday
night at 6:35pm at The Resch Center in Green
Bay
.  You’ll

The St. Mary’s Springs boys
won their Regional Final on Saturday night with a 56-44 win at Oshkosh
Lourdes.  The Ledgers will travel to
Sheboygan North for a Division Four Sectional Semifinal against Howards Grove.
That game has been moved to Wednesday night.

The Ripon boys basketball team advanced to the Division
Three Sectional Semifinals with a 77-61 win over Laconia
The Tigers will face Poynette on Thursday at West Bend at 7pm.  Poynette beat Waupun 56-47.

 

In Division One boys, Stevens Point
and Neenah won
Regionals.  They will meet on Thursday
night at Menasha.  Kimberly also advanced
to the Sectional and will face DePere on Thursday night at Green Bay
Preble.   

 

In Division Two, both Kaukauna and Hortonville were knocked
out in Regional Finals.

 

The Badger men’s basketball team wrapped up their regular
season by blowing out Ohio State 72-48 in Columbus.  Frank Kaminsky scored 20 and Bronson Koenig
added 15.  The Big Ten champs will open
conference tournament play on Friday morning at 11am.  The Badgers regular season ends at 28-3.

 

The Bucks host New Orleans
tonight at the BMO
Harris Bradley
Center
.  Coverage begins at 6:40pm with the tip set
for 7pm.

 

The Dodgers beat the Brewers 4-3 on Sunday in Cactus League
action.  Carlos Gomez drove in a run and
Matt Clark tied it in the 9th with a solo homer before Dodgers
prospect Corey Seager drove in the game winner. 
Mike Fiers got the start and gave up just one unearned run in 2 and 2/3
innings of work.  Jimmy Nelson gets the
start this afternoon against the Reds. 

 

Kevin Harvick won the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Las Vegas on Sunday.  Martin Truex, Junior was 2nd and
Ryan Newman 3rd.  Dale
Earnhardt, Junior was 4thCambridge native Matt
Kenseth was 9th.  Eau Claire’s Paul Menard
was 12th.

 

Dustin Johnson won the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral on
Sunday at -9.  He was one shot better JB
Holmes and two shots better than Bubba Watson.
